About Afyaa

My name is Renee, and I am the proud owner of Afyaa Cosmetics. Growing up in the UK as a young Black girl, I was often confronted with the stereotype that our hair can't grow beyond a certain length. This sparked a personal journey for me, leading to extensive research on hair growth products. However, I struggled to find one that contained all the natural ingredients I was looking for, leading me to mixing different branded oils. Unfortunately I experienced several allergic reactions along the way. Determined to find a solution, I dove deeper into exploring natural, organic, and traditional methods for hair care. This journey not only improved the health of my hair but also fueled my passion for creating my own line of natural products.
